Lewis C. "Pinky" Brownlee Jr., Founder

Lewis C. "Pinky" Brownlee Jr., founder, started Brownlee Jewelers with his father in Downtown Conroe in 1932. Mr. Brownlee was a watchmaker and businessman. He began managing the store after he returned from serving as a translator in the Korean War. Mr. Brownlee established a legacy of customer service, community partnership, and a commitment to quality - a legacy that is now more than 92 years in the making. Mr. Brownlee personally trained and mentored Janice until he passed in 1988. Mr. Brownlee was a pivotal member of the Conroe community, and he left his mark as one of the pioneers of Historic Downtown Conroe 

Janice Parish, Owner

Janice Parish, owner, started with Brownlee Jewelers in 1981 and became the owner in 1988 when Mr. Brownlee placed the store under her care upon his passing. Janice became a certified GIA - Graduate Gemologist by attending the Gemological Institute of America in California for her formal training. She specializes in appraisals, diamond grading, and precious and semi-precious gemstones. With more than 40 years of experience, both at the bench and in the showroom, she loves helping customers find or create the perfect piece of jewelry.

Judy Brandon, Sales Associate

Judy Brandon, sales associate, has proudly served customers at Brownlee Jewelers since 2018. She specializes in finding the perfect gift for any occasion and believes in always putting the customer first. Through her previous work experiences, she has developed sharp attention to detail and curiosity for finding the untold story in each special piece of jewelry. She was born and raised in Montgomery County and has a passion for our local community.
